It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane, It’s a Frenchman with his Flying Horse!
Us silly Americans have to make do with silly talking horses like Mr. Ed, but the French get flying horses! Believe it or not, but there actually was a noted 18th century French balloonist by the name of Pierre Testu-Brissy who reportedly took over 50 hot air balloon rides with his horse!From:  Les Animaux Savants, ou, Exercises des Chevaux de MM.
